Steep slopes and tight shoulders made Butts Canyon Rd high-risk. Crews treated 3.1 miles of roadside fuels in June 2025 to boost safety and resilience.
Launched in 2023, a joint NVV–Napa Firewise project is restoring 100 miles of legacy dozer lines to boost fire response, safety, and community resilience.
