Approximately 10 acres, across 0.7 miles, of roadside fuels were cleared within the Coombsville-Wildhorse Valley Fire Safe Council to improve evacuation route for nearby residents. Dead and dying trees, strike hazards, and ladder fuels were removed along Shadybrook Lane, Mustang Lang, and Pony Lane in Napa County. There are numerous overhead telecommunication and electrical lines in this area, and attention to detail was paid to avoid damages. Napa Firewise was able to ensure that no chips or sediment were introduced to the nearby water course.
