A Letter from Senator Bill Dodd

The beneficiary of our holiday fundraiser this year could not be more deserving! The Napa Communities Firewise Foundation is working diligently to reduce the risks and impacts of wildfires throughout Napa County for the benefit of lives and livelihoods. Napa Firewise works in partnership with 17 local Fire Safe Councils, Napa County, and multiple organizations to protect residents from the threat of wildfires.

It is well known that Napa County has endured over four devastating fires since 2017. Investing in fire prevention is the most economical and sustainable way to fight fires, especially during this unprecedented drought. All donation checks are written to the Napa Communities Firewise Foundation, and funds will be spent solely on authorized wildfire fuel mitigation and fire preparedness project expenses.
